Users can delve deeper into oxygen data through the informative oxygen percentage history graph, offering insights into recent oxygen availability trends. The oxygen percentage is also conveniently accessible through select complications in the format (O₂@SL - Oxygen at Sea-Level).

For enhanced GPS data collection frequency, Altimeter Watch incorporates a specialized Workout Mode. By activating this mode, the app seamlessly displays altitude updates each time you raise your wrist during a recorded workout session.

Upon completion of a workout, the option to save it to Apple Health adds to the app's utility. Notably, the use of Workout Mode may affect battery life and is recommended only when requiring detailed altitude information.

Accompanying the Apple Watch app is a companion iPhone application that facilitates in-depth scrutiny of data points collected by the device.

It's important to note that Altimeter Watch is compatible exclusively with Apple Watches featuring built-in GPS and does not support Apple Watch Series 0 or 1, nor iPads. Optimizing the app's accuracy requires ensuring your watch has an unobstructed view of the sky.

The oxygen monitoring capabilities provided by Altimeter Watch serve as estimations and may not always be entirely accurate. Users are advised to exercise caution and seek appropriate training and professional oversight when utilizing these features, particularly at elevations exceeding 300m or in environments with limited ventilation or exposure to hazardous gases.

Indoor and enclosed environments such as aircraft can lead to inaccuracies in GPS altitude data. Therefore, reliance on Altimeter Watch for aviation, navigation, or surveying purposes is discouraged.

If opting to activate the oxygen monitoring features, subscription charges will apply. Payment will be processed through your iTunes account with subscription renewals occurring 24 hours before the current period ends. The prices for oxygen monitoring subscriptions are $1.49 USD for 3 months, $3.49 USD for 6 months, and $5.99 USD for a year, subject to change without prior notice and currency variations outside the U.S.

Users can manage subscriptions and disable auto-renewal by accessing Account Settings post-purchase.
